Położony na szczycie wzgórza około 450 m. nad poziomem morza, oferuje zapierające dech w piersiach widoki na dolinę Arno i jest otoczony drzewami oliwnymi, lasami i winnicami. Otaczające ją 2000 hektarów ziemi to prywatny rezerwat zwierzyny łownej i posiadłość rolna, idealna do spacerów i podziwiania lokalnej flory i fauny.

Główną działalnością zamku jest uprawa oliwek, a następnie leśnictwo i agroturystyka; w pobliżu wioski rośnie wiele drzew oliwnych, które powoli zostawiają miejsce na lasy, dominujący element krajobrazu.
